If you are referring to H%26amp;R block or Jackson Hewitt then they charge by the form, usually. If you have a simple return it is more cost effective to go the turbo tax route.





National CPA firms are very expensive.





Local CPA firms can be the best value for the money if you have a complex return but be sure to find out up front what they charge per hour.
